Christmas Stockings - A Perfect Gift Idea

Last year, I had looked around searching for a good quality Christmas Stocking. Back then I didn't know what a difficult task it was to find a stocking that would fit my needs. For example, I wanted it to have a wide opening, so I could stuff goodies, DVDs, and many other presents.  Also, I needed the inside part of the stocking to be fray-free without any holes, and have a lining so I could put in small items, like earring studs, for instance, and not have them lost. The cuff had to be adjustable to any height I wanted. And most importantly, the stocking had to be stiff to a certain degree that it would hang without losing its form. Yeah, I am very picky when it comes to quality and the purpose the item would serve. Please don't get me wrong, I am a very fun person to be around, who loves to waste money on silly things like many of you do.
So anyway, most of the stockings I found were very narrow and long, the inside was just a mess, cuffs were not adjustable, and they were not stiff at all. That's when I thought I had to make my own Christmas Stockings. And look, the design is very simple, but the stockings have a very good quality, and the fabric prints carry different themes.
Please tell me how I met my goals by leaving comments under this post. You can find all of the stockings by visiting my Etsy Shop. I would love to hear your critiques of the stockings. But before you do that here are some images I would like to share with you.

It is a good size stocking, not too large, not too small. The overall measurements of all stockings are 16" Long (excluding the hook, measuring from top to bottom), and 12.5" Wide (measuring from left to right)

Each stocking has a cotton lining insert that doesn't have any visible stitching. It looks neat and clean.

Cuffs are made of felt, lined with interface for stiffness and they are adjustable to any height.

All stitches on the stockings are hidden, or invisible, except the decorative stitching on the cuffs.

For the stiffness of the stockings I have lined the wrong side of cotton fabric with the interface, furthermore the cotton lining adds more stiffness.

Finally, I found the stockings I was looking for: they were in my head, and I had to make them.
